1 Kings 18:20-39

Inspired by the "title"match at Mt. Carmel

Oh El, Eloah, Elohim

we danced around our alters for hours on end

we mutilated our bodies and sacrificed to the gods we held high above You

we turned our backs on the One True God

we called out to our idols

but our cries simply echoed off the stone alters we built

no answer came

but you Yahweh Elohim are the One True God

and in an instant You heard the cry of a righteous man

You Eloah- a God to be feared

reminded Your people who You are

Fire came down from heaven

an answer to the cry to show Your might

I fall prostrate before You God of gods, Lord of lords

You destroy our idols before our eyes

You redeem us in a moment

i praise you El Elohim
